Despite several near-misses in subsequent ICC events, Team India has another opportunity to secure a title in the T20 World Cup 2024.

Led by Rohit Sharma, India is currently the top-ranked team in the ICC T20I rankings and is among the favorites to win the ninth edition of the T20 World Cup.

Rishabh Pant shares optimism about India’s chances. “Cricket is a game of percentages. If you get more percentage, your chances for victory are better. Looking at the current environment, we have a high chance of winning the World Cup,” Pant said during an episode of Aap Ki Adalat.
While Pant stopped short of guaranteeing victory, he assured fans that the team would give their all on the field. “I can guarantee one thing: when we go to the ground, we will give 200 percent. That is guaranteed. If you play good cricket, you have more chances to win,” he added.

India has begun their campaign strongly, defeating Ireland by eight wickets in their opening match. They are favorites to top Group A and advance to the Super 8 stage.
